K2 Crawley receives excellent Quest score
K2 Crawley, managed by Freedom Leisure, has been rated in the Excellent category for a Quest Award, the national benchmarking quality assessment scheme, sponsored by Sport England.
The Freedom Leisure Centre was awarded a top score of 84 per cent, the highest mark achieved to date across all 19 of Freedom Leisure's centres. The full assessment process, conducted every two years, is demanding and covers all aspects of customer service, cleanliness and management.
Said Matt Hunt, Crawley Area Manager for Freedom Leisure: "I would like to congratulate Daryl Keech and his team at K2 Crawley, for achieving such a great performance in the Quest Award. This is a prestigious, industry-recognised endorsement of how well a leisure facility is being managed and run. It is also an acknowledgement that Freedom leisure has invested heavily both in financial improvements to its facilities in Crawley but also in its staff and their training ensuring the highest standards for all our customers."
Councillor Lenny Walker, Cabinet member for Leisure and Culture at Crawley Borough Council, said: "This is yet more great news for K2 Crawley, Freedom Leisure and the council, following many international events hosted at the leisure centre and the news that Barbados will train there before the London 2012 Olympic Games. I'd like to congratulate Freedom on this latest success. This is further evidence that an ongoing commitment to reviewing our leisure provisions can deliver real value for the taxpayer while delivering excellent services."
