July launch for second Health du Vin
Boutique hotel chain Hotel du Vin is to launch a second Health du Vin spa in the UK at its new, 49-bedroom Cheltenham hotel, which will open in July.
The Cheltenham property – formerly the 100-year-old Carlton Hotel – will include a 1,420sq ft (132sq m) Health du Vin spa on the ground floor of the hotel. The facility will include four treatment rooms and a relaxation room; a manicure station and a spray tan booth; a steamroom and a monsoon shower.
Treatments will include hot stone, pre-natal and pressure point massages and Balinese-inspired therapies using a range of ESPA products alongside St Tropez.
Designed by Michael Philips Associates and supervised by spa manager Lynsey Kettlewell, the spa will open to hotel guests as well as the general public, who will gain access via a separate external entrance.
The first Health du Vin launched as part of the Birmingham hotel in April 2001.
