Gustav Zech Foundation takes over Blumen Haus Lech
The Gustav Zech Foundation, a strategic management holding company, will take over the Blumen Haus Hotel development in Lech, Switzerland through the acquisition of shares in the Blumenberg Anstalt (the Blumenberg Institution).
The five star development – which is designed by architect Alexander Sommersgutter of the OFA Architektur ZT GmbH and features interiors by designer Reinhard Strasser – is nearing completion and due to open before the end of this year as Severin*s - the alpine retreat.
The hotel will house 400 square metres' worth of wellness facilities, including a beauty salon, spa treatment suite, fitness centre and 12.5 metre swimming pool with counter currents, a waterfall, two saunas, a steam room and an infrared cabin.
During development, special care has been placed on the use of traditional building materials and the history and traditions of the region, with reclaimed Tyrolian wood, a stone facade and a copper roof all incorporated into the build.
Severin*s - the Alpine Retreat will be operated by Atlantic Hotel Management GmbH, which also operates Severin*s Resort & Spa in Sylt, Germany and the Atlantic Grand Hotel in Travemunde, Germany.
