Hilton launches new hotel brand
US-based hotels giant, Hilton Hotels Corporation (HHC) has added a new, global lifestyle brand to its portfolio.
Denizen Hotels will be rolled out as a high-end luxury brand, targeting both leisure and business guests.
Christopher Nassetta, president of HHC, said: “While we continue to operate in a challenging macro economic environment, the addition of Denizen Hotels demonstrates our commitment to continuing to invest in our long-term growth.
"Denizen Hotels will be highlighted by exceptional design and this new brand rounds out our luxury portfolio which includes the Waldorf Astoria, the Waldorf Astoria Collection and Conrad Hotels & Resorts.”
Nassetta added that Denizen properties will be located in at major cities and tourist destinations.
The new hotels will be designed by a team of architects and interior designers, including Charles Allem, Clodagh and David Rockwell.
Active development negotiations are currently underway in Abu Dhabi; Mumbai, India; Beverly Hills, California, US; Buenos Aires, Argentina; Cancun, Mexico; Istanbul, Turkey; Jerusalem, Israel; London, UK; and Montreal, Canada.
