Glenn Lewis joins the Celtic Manor Resort
The Celtic Manor Resort in south Wales has appointed Glenn Lewis as resort hotel manager.
With more than 30 years industry experience, Lewis will be responsible for all aspects of the operational side of the hotel and all department managers will report directly to him.
Prior to the Celtic Manor, Lewis was the general manager of the Pacific Oriental restaurant at No 1 Bishopsgate in London’s Square Mile which saw many high profile regulars such as Mervyn King, the governor of The Bank of England, and Prime Minister Tony Blair.
Lewis said: “I believe that the customer is king and the most important person that walks though the door. With so much competition in the market place, the only thing that will set us apart from other Resorts is the service that we give to our guests.”
The five-star Celtic Manor Resort is the host venue for The 38th Ryder Cup Matches in 2010 and is set in more than 1,400 acres of parkland. Details: www.celtic-manor.com
