GLL set to manage Ealing leisure sites
Greenwich Leisure (GLL) will take over the management of Acton Swimming Baths, Gurnell Leisure Centre and Dormers Wells Leisure Centre from 1 November following a long-term agreement with Ealing Council.
Around £3m will be invested in the three London facilities over the next 12 years.
Cllr Nigel Sumner, cabinet member for health and community wellbeing, said: "Ealing Council welcomes the opportunity to work with Greenwich Leisure, which has become a major force within the leisure industry.
"GLL displays a strong commitment to social inclusion and customer-focused service so I am optimistic that the targets we have built into the new contract will see an improvement in customer satisfaction levels at our three facilities."
Greenwich Leisure currently operates more than 50 public leisure facilities across Greater London. Details: www.ealing.gov.uk or www.gll.org
