FutureTrain launched
A new initiative called Future Train has been launched to help develop the next generation of trainers and assessors in the fitness industry in Greater London.
Individuals interested in enrolling on one of the free courses on offer must be supported by their employer and complete a training agreement.
The next five courses on offer are CYQ Active Leisure Sector trainer/assessor; A1 Assessors for work-based NVQs; IQL Pool Lifeguard Trainer/Assessor; HSE First Aid at Work Trainer/Assessor and Train the Trainer – developing the skills of those delivering in house training.
The course deadline for applications is 27 July. Induction days will be held at the end of September and the courses will commence in October.
The initiative is free for employers and is supported by the London Development Agency in partnership with Skills Active and London Leisure College. Details: Tel: 020 8676 7552
