Asian operator Banyan Tree is to extend its Angsana brand in the United Arab Emirates next year with a hotel and spa in Dubai as part of its ongoing expansion in the Middle East.
The Angsana Hotel and Suites Dubai will open in February 2008 and will be the first city hotel to open under Banyan Tree’s Angsana brand.
Situated along Sheikh Zayed Road, near to the Dubai Financial Centre, the Dubai property will include an Angsana Spa on the 45th floor, with four double treatment rooms and nine single rooms as well as a lounge and beauty salon.
The Dubai city hotel is the first of six Angsana properties currently being developed – the others will be located in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Fujairah, Jordan and Oman.
There are a total of 10 Banyan Tree properties scheduled to open in the Middle East over the next couple of years.
