Functional fitness franchise Fitstop expands into US market
Tech-driven functional fitness franchise, Fitstop, has revealed plans to expand into the US market.
The Australia-based company currently has more than 200 studios worldwide and has now announced its entry to the US with a flagship location in Santa Monica, California.
Set to open in May 2023, the initial studio will be owned and operated corporately by Fitstop.
It will be followed by a further California opening in Hermosa Beach.
In total, Fitstop says it is on track to open more than 10 US locations by the end of 2023.
It is looking for a nation-wide estate, with some of the planned locations set for the North East of the country – including the first franchise-owned location, in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
Fitstop provides group fitness classes of varying intensity levels and what it calls "science-backed programming".
"We take an athlete-inspired approach to group training with a holistic training programme that blends strength, metabolic conditioning and endurance, designed to help trainers to move more and live more," Fitstop said.
