Frank Skinner to promote Football Museum
Comedian and celebrity football fan, Frank Skinnner, has given his endorsement to the National Football Museum in Preston for its latest marketing campaign.
Throughout the summer, the campaign will be appearing in the press in the north west, revealing insights into football history. In a variety of advertisements, Skinner will reveal stories about eccentric football fans, celebrity footballers and key moments in the beautiful game’s history – all of which are covered in greater depth at the National Football Museum.
Curator at the National Football Museum, Mark Bushell, said: “I took Frank on a tour of the museum and he loved it. He wrote about the experience in his column in The Times and he is passionate about football history in general. We’re sure that with his backing the campaign will be a success.”
The campaign has been created by Junction and account director, Nick Flewitt, said: “Frank Skinner was the natural choice because of Fantasy Football League and the Three Lions song – and he gave his backing for free!”
