Four Seasons to unveil new Toronto hotel
Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has announced that it will open a new 259-bedroom hotel in the hospitality management group's hometown of Toronto, Canada, this summer.
Facilities at the group's new flagship Four Seasons Hotel Toronto will include a 2,700sq m (29,063sq ft) spa spread across two floors and containing 17 customised treatment rooms.
The Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Toronto will also accommodate a full service salon; a fitness centre; a relxation pool with adjacent whirlpool; and a yoga studio.
It will be the first Four Seasons-branded spa in Toronto and, according to senior spa director Todd Hewitt, will provide the city with a "completely new spa experience".
"We have the most advanced fitness equipment, interactive workout classes and special surprises along the way as we introduce the newest spa trends, skincare lines and innovations from around the world," said Todd.
The hotel comprises two towers linked by a skyway bridge and a third building for events. It has been designed by architectsAlliance and Page + Steele IBI Group Architects.
Four Seasons regional vice president and general manager Dimitrios Zarikos said: "We are quite literally at the intersection where business and pleasure come together in Toronto.
"Four Seasons has not only been connected to the Toronto community but we have also welcomed visitors to this dynamic city for half a century, and we are taking that tradition and those relationships with us into our new home."
