Four Seasons' Beverly Hills hotel introduces BioMeditation Therapy
Image: The spa now offers BioMeditation Therapy
A new healing modality which helps to naturally activate self-healing has been introduced at the spa at Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills in California, US.
In addition to its self-healing qualities, BioMeditation Therapy also strengthens the immune and nervous systems and the body's metabolism in order to create "inner harmony".
BioMeditation Therapy was originally created by Russian healer Viktor Philippi and is designed to enable the body to recognise energetic imbalances and regenerate at its core.
Jeannette von Johnsbach, the spa's BioMeditation therapist, uses four main hand positions in the delivery of the 60-minute session, which activates the flow of BioEnergy.
Guests remain in a conscious state throughout their BioMeditation Therapy session, which also helps to alleviate stress, anxiety and inner restlessness, as well as physical conditions.
Von Johnsbach - founder of The Andreas Method - was personally trained by Viktor Philippi and has studied and practised healing arts in Europe, India and the US for more than 20 years.
Spa director Derek Hofmann said: "We are excited about this profoundly healing new modality with BioMeditation therapist Jeannette von Johnsbach, which works with the body's unique energy to create harmony."
The 3,695sq ft (343sq m) spa contains eight treatment rooms and uses products supplied by Kerstin Florian, Innovative Skincare and Ila.
