Fitness International adds 35 Xsport Fitness clubs to its estate
Fitness International has announced the acquisition of XSport Fitness, adding to its portfolio of brands, which includes LA Fitness, Esporta Fitness, City Sports Club and Club Studios.
This extends Fitness International coverage in the Chicagoland, New York and Virginia markets and makes it one of the largest privately-held health club operators in the US. It currently has more than 700 locations across 27 states and Canada.
"We are proud to add XSport Fitness' facilities to our nationwide network of health clubs," said Jill Greuling, president, club operations of Fitness International. "This provides the opportunity to bring our best-in-class fitness experience, with the widest range of amenities and the friendliest service at an affordable price, to more people across the country. With today's acquisition, Fitness International has once again invested in its members."
XSport Fitness has 35 locations which will also receive investment and be rebranded as one of Fitness International’s existing brands.
Existing members of Xsport Fitness now have access to all LA Fitness clubs in the US.
