Felixstowe gardens plans to be put on display
Suffolk Coastal District Council (SCDC) has announced that a draft outline masterplan for the revamp of Felixstowe's Seafront Gardens will be put on display next month.
A two day exhibition - to be held on 16 and 17 July - will be held at Felixstowe Town Hall and forms part of the council's bid for Heritage Lottery funding. Residents and visitors will be given the chance to have their say on the plans, which will be put on display with the support of landscape architects Lanarca and the Friends of Felixstowe Seafront Gardens.
SCDC cabinet member for countryside and leisure Mary Neale said: "The consultation will give people a chance to look at the plans that are coming together and share their views on how they use the Seafront Gardens and what they would like to see improved. "The suggestions we receive from this latest consultation will help us ensure that the plans for the regeneration of the gardens best suit the community."
