What are your responsibilities within your company?
In my position as sales manager Asia, I’m responsible for the business progress in Asia. In collaboration with the Export department, I’m in charge of creating new business contacts and taking care of existing clients.
I’m helping clients in need of specialities for projects in realization and, of course, I look after our projects in development. Also, I arrange and observe the Asian marketing of products and services available with Haslauer GmbH.
What products/services does your company provide to the wellness industry in Asia? My company, the Haslauer GmbH, with its headquaters in Germany, is known as a unique supplier of entire solutions for the Wellness industry. Worldwide, more than 10,000 clients including top hotels, day spas, luxury cruise liners, cure and thermal spas, beauty farms, cosmetic salons as well as therapy and massage studios are a proof for our success.
Our entire solutions comprise the conception, planning and realization of spas and wellness areas as well as the production and supply of naturopathy products, cosmetics and accessories necessary for treatments. We develop recipes and treatment concepts and offer professional staff training for wellness treatments and special massages.
Very unique about the Haslauer GmbH is its innovative power, which is always based on the therapeutic knowledge of naturopathy and balneology. This is well proved with many international patents and inventions, which became standards in the therapy and wellness industry, such as the Soft-Pack-System‚, a unique and ingenious body wrap system or the Rasul‚, an oriental skin care ceremony.
With the conception of projects, we put great importance to the exact upfront analysis of resources, the local specialities and treatment priorities, so that the Spa & Wellness area will be unique as well as profitable. This makes both of us happy, but especially our clients.
With our training, either on-site or at our spa and the training centre in south Germany, we are happy to pass on our 40 years of experience and know-how to our clients.
Our spa and training centre, the “Reiter Alm”, is located in a little village called Ainring, just a few minutes from Salzburg. It acts as a showroom, but is also a fully operational spa & wellness centre. All our clients are welcome to visit us and give our products and equipment a try. How do you overcome potential conflict with your distributors in meeting the end users, which is what you will be doing as SIBEC ASIA?
There’s no distributor in Asia – meaning no conflict!
What do you expect from your time at SIBEC ASIA? Why are you coming? Due to the pioneering work we did for the wellness industry as well as the high-quality and functionality of our equipment, facilities and products we acquired international renown.
I’m sure that all of our successful – mainly European clients – are the best reference for creating a new network in Asia.
My expectations of SIBEC are to get the chance to increase the brand awareness of Haslauer GmbH in Asia. I’m looking forward to meeting potential clients and personalities of the wellness and spa industry, so I get the chance to convince them of our capability and innovative power.
