Fairytale Farm proposals move forward
Plans for the development of Fairytale Farm, a new visitor attraction designed for children with disabilities near Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, have taken a step forward.
Nick and Nicola Laister have been awarded planning consent for the attraction's main, two-storey building, which will provide an indoor space for education, refreshments and offices. Planning permission for the wider Fairytale Farm development was approved last year and it is now hoped that the attraction will open to the public in Easter 2012.
Nick Laister said: "The granting of planning permission for this two-storey building is a major step forward for us because it is essential that we have indoor facilities for when the weather is poor. "Although it is an entirely timber building, it is a major undertaking for us and we do not have any financial support. We are therefore looking for help with certain aspects of the project."
