FIA to share retention research
The Fitness Industry Association has teamed up with Bodylife to host a series of regional seminars focusing on retention.
To be held at health and fitness clubs across the country between the beginning of April and the end of May, the seminars aim to provide an insight into why members leave health and fitness clubs and offer tips on how to encourage them to stay.
Dr Melvyn Hillsdon from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine will explain the findings of the FIA's studies in membership retention and run workshops focusing on the research and its implications.
Ian Parker, national training director from the Fitness Bureau will talk about his personal experiences and offer advice. All attendees will receive a CD containing the latest FIA research.
