FEED 2008 – sign up now
FEED 2008, the only UK environmental event for the food, drink, hotel and catering sector takes place on Tuesday 5 February at the East Midlands Conference Centre, and is free to attend.
The event, which is run by the Envirowise Food and Drink team, will give delegates access to two keynote speakers who are Lord Rooker, Minister for Sustainable Farming and Food and Animal Health and David Bellamy, Sustainability Manager for Food and Drink Federation. There will be six practical workshops on the day covering issues such as:
• resource efficiency,
• energy efficiency, • water minimisation,
• packaging optimisation, • resource efficiency for the hospitality & catering sectors
• transport & logistics
There will also be the opportunity to have one to one sessions with Envirowise advisors, attend an exhibition of leading trade associations, support organisation’s and regional development bodies not to mention the chance to network and share best practice with like minded environmentally aware people.
