Moroccan spa adds ‘next level’ offerings
Es Saadi, an award-winning spa in Marrakech, has added a wealth of new features to its current spa services.
The spa, which recently won the ‘Best Luxury Resort Spa of Morocco’ category at the 2016 World Luxury Spa Awards, now has a new spa suite, new gut and hydrotherapy treatments, a new slow food philosophy and yoga retreats – in partnership with French outfit Le Tigre Yoga Club – on offer.
Es Saadi said that it has taken its services to the “next level” with the additions to its existing gardens, private manicure and pedicure salon, traditional and contemporary treatments, marbled Moroccan hammams, natural herb saunas and Dior Institute (the only one of its kind available outside of Paris).
The new hydrotherapy treatments include a hydrotherapy massage, which combines a hydrotherapy system of five pivoting shower heads with a four-hand massage. Also on offer is a gut massage, which was inspired by Chinese medicine (where the stomach is often referred to as the ‘second brain’), aiming to relieve fatigue, stress, anxiety and digestive issues.
The new spa suite features a Moroccan hammam, a hydro massage bath for two, two massage tables and a private changing room, as well as a king-size waterbed by an open fireplace and herbal infusions and teas freshly cut from the garden.
ES Saadi’s new yoga retreats are “designed to rest, restore and revive.” Over the course of three days, guests can practice the art of yoga with instructors from Le Tigre Yoga Club with a focus on “healing body and spirit.” For 2017, the retreats will run from 3-6 February and 24-27 March.
