Entries are now being taken for the 2007 Northern Hospitality Awards, the premier competition for hospitality operators in the region.

After a prestigious launch at the Lowry Hotel, Manchester, last year, the awards presentation will return to the Lowry on Monday 26 March 2007.

The Northern Hospitality Awards feature flagship categories for each of the key hospitality sectors, as well as individual awards for Chef, Mentor, Newcomer and Lifetime Achievement.

Members of the BHA who won last year included:

• Best Restaurant - Anthonys, Leeds, West Yorkshire • Best Hotel - Holbeck Ghyll Country House Hotel, Windermere, Cumbria

• Lifetime Achievement - Nigel Howarth of Northcote Manor, Langho, Blackburn, Lancashire

The final deadline for entries is 9 February 2007.

The Northern Hospitality Awards are run in conjunction with the Northern Restaurant and Bar Show, which will take place at Manchester’s GMEX in March 2007.
