Eclectic keeps on expanding
Late night club and entertainment operator Eclectic Clubs & Bars is to open three new venues as part of a larger expansion strategy.
The new sites - two Lola Lo-branded clubs in Norwich and Oxford, and a Sakura site in Manchester - are result of a total investment of £1.8m by the night club operator.
Formerly operating under Eclectic's Po Na Na brand, the 300-capacity Lola Lo in Norwich opens on 12 November, with the 195-capacity Oxford venue opening pre-Christmas. The first Lola Lo opened in Brighton earlier this year.
The 660-capacity Sakura Manchester, which opens on 1 October, follows from previous Sakura sites in Lincoln and Reading.
The main contractor on the three projects was WFC Interiors, with sound created by Emma Barwell of SSE Audio Group and lighting by TEI Electrical.
The company announced in June that its pre-tax profits for the 11 months to the end of May 2010 were up 57 per cent when compared on the same period in 2009.
