Eagle Boys adds extra bite to WhiteWater World
Gold Coast, Australia's Whitewater World has incorporated an Eagle Boys Express Store into its leisure park, extending its offering to park patrons and fostering a viable new business.
This is the first Eagle Boys Pizza Express store owned and operated by Ardent Leisure, the owner of White Waterworld which is located next to the iconic Dreamworld theme park at Coomera on the Gold Coast.
The Eagle Boys Express store opened at Whitewater World in December last year and now sells more than 1,000 pizzas a week to hungry customers.
Ideal for amusement, leisure and recreation parks, Eagle Boys' Express Store model operates in a space as small as six square metres. It makes use of new technology allowing pizzas to be prepared in-store in a third of the time as traditional pizzas.
Eagle Boys CEO Todd Clayton said Eagle Boys embraced the opportunity to open a store in such a high-traffic area.
"Eagle Boys already operates successful Express Stores in, sporting stadiums and airports. Partnering with one of Queenslands iconic theme parks was a natural progression" he said.
"Whitewater World attracts around 4,000 patrons every day during their peak season, and many of these people are pizza-lovers so it makes for a very viable business."
The Eagle Boys Express Store in Whitewater World offers a menu of four pizzas and garlic bread along with an expanded range of baguettes, wraps, chips, nuggets and beverages.
Eagle Boys Pizza is one of Australia's largest pizza makers and is 100% Australian-owned. It operates more than 290 franchised stores throughout Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia, and the Northern Territory, employing more than 4,000 staff and making more than 16 million pizzas a year.
