A new 10,000sq m (107,639sq ft) ESPA spa is to open on 6 July at Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) - one of Singapore's first integrated resort developments.
ESPA at RWS will become the company's new flagship Asian spa and includes a total of 24 treatment rooms - eight of which are located within the main building.
The treatment building will contain a further 10 treatment rooms, while six individual treatment villas are to overlook the reflection pool, as will two private spa suites. Two beach villas also have treatment suites.
A traditional hammam - one of the first in Singapore - is among the highlights of ESPA at RWS and features an entrance lounge, a large scrub plinth, four seated washing stations, two private scrub areas and showers, as well as a steamroom catering for four guests at a time.
Additional facilities include two unisex Forest Onsen-style pools, crystal steamrooms, a rock sauna, an ice fountain, experience showers, outdoor vitality pools and cold plunge pools.
Elsewhere, the spa will contain relaxation areas; 18 purpose-built sleep pods; a nail studio; and a finishing studio.
The spa is set against a backdrop of sea views and jungle-covered hillsides. UK-based Barr + Wray has worked on the design of the wet facilities.
ESPA CEO and founder Susan Harmsworth said: "It is ESPA's largest spa in the region with 24 treatment rooms and a repertoire of treatments that pays homage to Singapore's melting pot of cultures - all delivered with the best technology, treatments and therapists."
Resorts World Sentosa is wholly-owned by Genting Singapore.
