ESPA rolls out royal treatment for Riyadh offering
Al Faisaliah Spa by ESPA – Saudi Arabia’s first internationally branded ladies-only spa – officially opened at the end of March, with several members of the Saudi royal family in attendance.
The illustrious guest list is perhaps explained by the fact that Princess Al Anoud Bint Khaled Bin Abdullah Al Saud was responsible for designing the spa’s interior, which features Swarovski crystals, plush fabrics and cascading waterfalls.
Situated in the heart of Riyadh, Al Faisaliah Spa by ESPA is attached to the Al Faisaliah Suites – which are run by Saudi Al Khozama Management.
Spanning across four floors, the spa features six treatment rooms, two private spa suites, relaxation rooms, a whirlpool, nail studio, hair salon and a fitness zone with the latest Technogym equipment. There is also a 14m (46ft) long swimming pool, traditional hammam and a tea lounge where guests can relax in between treatments.
In addition to ESPA products, the spa has partnered with a range of skin care and beauty brands, including traditional and regionally-sourced services and products.
“We are very excited about our partnership with Al Khozama Management Company and Rosewood Hotels and Resorts which sees the launch of our brand in Saudi Arabia,” said ESPA founder and CEO Susan Harmsworth.
“Our partnership focuses on creating a concept for the Al Faisaliah Spa by ESPA that redefines luxury and delivers our world class, multiple award-winning spa service.”
