Dreamworld's DreamDate
This Valentine's eve trade table tops and trite conversation for the ultimate singles event with Dreamworld's DreamDate.
Sponsored by the masters of fun and flirting - Dreamworld and RSVP - it's the only Valentine event in Australia where hundreds of singles can buckle up and feel the rush of romance and where the pressure to date comes from the harness of a million dollar scream machine.
So sign up to a soiree with more twists and turns than the whole Brangelina saga and choose to fall 39 storeys in love on the legendary Giant Drop - or any of the rides operating that night. Those who prefer to keep their feet on the ground can chill out to a live band and relax in our laid back lounge bar.
Love may be free, but at DreamDate there are rules: ride operators will pair up partners, placing boys beside girls (unless you prefer otherwise) and giving twosomes high speed seconds to make - or break - an impression. A range of flirtatious games for both the bold and the bashful will be organised by Dreamworld's own fun-loving entertainers.
Dreamworld's Event Manager, Jennifer Neville said the inaugural Dreamworld DreamDate should be the best first date and the fastest speed date ever.
"It takes place outside the conventional environments like bars, so it's guaranteed to be fun and a less intimidating way to meet someone special," she said.
"Let's face it; it's pretty hard to be aloof when you're hitting terminal speed on the Giant Drop or flipping upside down on the Wipeout."
Tickets to DreamDate include a sparkling wine or beer on arrival, three hours of thrill rides starting from 7.00pm, a live band and facilitated singles competitions with prizes. The event is open to all guests 18 - 50 years and is not restricted to RSVP members. Dress code is smart casual.
