Council unveils new St Davids Sports Hall
Pembrokeshire County Council (PCC) has announced that a £1.3m sports hall and fitness centre has officially opened to the public in St Davids.
Haverfordwest-based contractor Cotton delivered the new facility on behalf of the council, having previously worked on similar schemes in both Haverfordwest and Fishguard. The centre will include a 19-station fitness suite equipped by Precor and Concept2. The multi-use sports hall will be capable of hosting a range of activities, including cricket, basketball and badminton.
A series of local sports clubs have already signed up to use the new facilities on offer, which have been designed to enable access for disabled users.
