IWG partners with Hussle and Bupa to deliver workplace wellness benefits

Fitness aggregator Hussle has partnered with office space provider IWG – the company behind brands such as BizDojo, Regis and Open Office – to provide clients using the company’s office and co-working Spaces with corporate wellness benefits, such as access to its gym, swimming pool and fitness apps.
The companies have agreed the equivalent of a wholesale price on gym day passes at scale, so hybrid workers using IWG’s offices across the UK – including Spaces, Regus and HQ – will be able to access these facilities at no cost to themselves. According to Hussle, its fitness partners will be paid via a per-visit model all year round.
"As the biggest network of workspaces across the UK and around the world, IWG is a natural partner for us to help people across the country foster healthier, happier lives," Jamie Ward, CEO of Hussle told HCM.
IWG has also partnered with Bupa to provide clients with private healthcare and a free yearly health assessment. The move comes as IWG research found that 70 per cent of office workers said a good workplace benefits package has become more important to them in the last two years and 18 per cent use more of the benefits.
IWG’s trends forecast for 2022 highlights how hybrid working and workforce dispersion is boosting local spending in local towns away from the city centre. The company saw its highest increase in demand for flexible workspaces in areas such as Bromsgrove (+153 per cent), Andover (+86 per cent) and Havant (+79 per cent).
The deal with Hussle – which partners with around 2,000 establishments across most of the UK – should, therefore, increase activity and spending in local fitness centres, as well as city centres and urban hubs. IWG plans to add 1,000 locations across the network over the next year and the Hussle and Bupa partnerships are part of the drive towards supporting clients working in local communities.
“For several decades, we've been at the forefront of hybrid working, helping people to live and work flexibly around their own schedules in the heart of their local communities,” said IWG CEO, Mark Dixon. “I’m pleased our new partnerships with Hussle and Bupa will provide our customers in the UK with a helping hand to stay fit and healthy.”
