Clinic and spa to open at Venetian Macao
An 84,400sq ft (7,841sq m) Malo clinic and medical spa is to open at The Venetian Macao resort hotel in Macau, China.
Launching in early 2009 on the fifth floor of the The Venetian hotel, the clinic and spa will be solely owned and managed by the Malo Clinic Health Group and cost US$46m (£23.07m, 29.1m euro) in total to build.
It will have six operating theatres, 58 spa rooms, wet and hydrotherapy facilities and a hair salon.
Services on offer will include general surgery, ophthalmology, plastic surgery, physical surgery and esthetics.
The clinic will utilise diagnostic technology such as MRI, ophthalmologic laser and digital mammography.
Founder Dr Paulo Malo said: “We are thrilled with the potential in Asia and the opening of this clinic represents our foothold into this dynamic market.”
Staffed by more than 50 medical doctors and 100 spa therapists, the clinic and spa will be Dr Malo’s first entry into the Asian market.
The Malo Clinic Health Group currently operates 14 ‘mega’ clinics in Europe, North and South America, Africa and Asia. Details: maloclinics.com
