London health club Market Sports has made its 25m pool completely chlorine-free thanks to PoolSan.
The pool situated in Shoreditch is the only 25m pool in the City of London, is now using an environmentally friendly alternative to chlorine that is said to provide effective bacteriological control.
Celina Brown of PoolSan Direct says: "COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) requirements are that every company considers its chemical usage throughout its business and, wherever possible and practical, replace hazardous chemicals with a safer alternative.
Removing the chlorine and acid removes the risk of a mix, making pools safer not only for the staff and users but everyone in the vicinity."
