Center Parcs to invest in luxury accommodation
Holiday park operator Center Parcs is hoping to bank an extra £500,000 of pre-tax profits in 2006, due to a £10m expansion of its Sherwood and Elveden Forest sites.
Improvements will include increasing the number of luxury villas at both sites and the introduction of a family-orientated raft ride to the Subtropical Swimming Paradise at Sherwood Forest.
A total of twenty new luxury villas – each with four bedrooms – will be built and 58 standard villas will be converted into premium accommodation.
The Aqua Sana Spa at Sherwood will also be expanded with six new treatment rooms, due to increased demand for on-site spa services.
Details of further projects at Oasis Whinfell and Longleat Forest will be announced later and construction at Sherwood and Elveden is expected to begin by the end of summer 2005. Details: www.centerparcs.co.uk
