The £5m Talacre Community Sports Centre opens in Camden at the end of the month.
Designed by David Morely Architects, the centre is the first step in the regeneration of Talacre Open Space park.
It will house a gymnastics training centre, sports hall, outdoor floodlight artificial and hard surface pitches and will provide sports programmes for the community including after-school and holiday sports schemes.
There will also be a multi-level soft play area and a cr'che - due to open in January - a terrace café and space for social events.
