Busch Entertainments to be sold?
Speculation is mounting over the future of visitor attraction operator Busch Entertainments.
Belgian brewer InBev is currently in the midst of a hostile takeover of Anheuser-Busch, the parent company of Busch Entertainments.
According to analysts, it is likely that if InBev's US$46bn (£23bn, 29bn euro) takeover is successful, it will look to sell the Busch Entertainments division as a going concern and concentrate on Anheuser's core businesses.
Both InBev and Anheuser declined to comment on the matter.
Busch Entertainments' portfolio of attractions comprises 10 sites in the US.
It currently operates two Busch Gardens parks (Tampa, Florida, and Williamsburg, Virginia) and three SeaWorld parks (Orlando, Florida; San Antonio, Texas and San Diego, California).
It also owns the Adventure Island water park in Tampa, the Aquatica water park in Orlando, the Water Country USA water park in Williamsburg, the Sesame Place theme park in Langhorne, Pennsylvania and the Discovery Cove attraction in Orlando.
Anheuser-Busch is one of the World's largest brewers and its range of brands include Budweiser beer.
