Bruno Loubet joins The Zetter
Bruno Loubet is to join The Zetter Hotel in London's Clerkenwell district as chef/patron of Bistrot Bruno Loubet.
To launch in February 2010, the 85-cover Bistrot Bruno Loubet will have a small lounge area and serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menus will be designed to showcase Loubet's cooking technique of modern bistrot food, and will feature the hallmark style of his previous London establishments, including Bistrot Bruno and L'Odéon. Loubet returned to the UK last summer after spending the past eight years in Australia - working at three separate sites in Queensland - and has recently been collaborating with chef Pierre Koffmann on the pop_up restaurant at Selfridges.
Commenting on the new partnership, Zetter co-owner Mark Sainsbury said: "With the Clerkenwell area increasingly becoming a vibrant destination for restaurants, bars and hotels, we are thrilled that Bruno is joining The Zetter."
