TRIB3 appoints MD for France ahead of Paris launch
Sheffield-based Boutique gym TRIB3 has appointed Michel Parada as its managing director for France as it prepares to open its first club in Paris before the end of the year.
Parada, a former chief executive officer and managing director of Fitness First France, will start his role with immediate effect.
The announcement comes after last month's news that it will be opening a gym in Russia this summer, with plans for studios in Spain's Barcelona and Madrid before the end of the year.
Rod Hill, TRIB3 European managing director, said: “Michel’s appointment comes at an exciting time for the company as we continue our ambitious programme of expansion across Europe.
“Having only recently announced the launch of our first Moscow site this summer, it is with great pride that we confirm our arrival in the French capital and we are now looking forward to new deals looking to be finalised in Switzerland and Germany shortly.”
Kevin Yates, group chief executive officer, said: “We are so pleased to be building such a formidable team and know that Michel, with his wealth of experience in the French fitness industry, will be a real asset as we move into this important new territory.
“We now look forward with even greater confidence to extending into more countries and expanding our ever growing portfolio in the coming months.”
Co-founded by Yates, Dan Summerson and David Cross and partners, TRIB3 launched its first site in Sheffield’s Ecclesall Road at the beginning of 2016.
Its High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workouts are based around treadmills (cardio), resistance (weights) and intensity (heart rate) and sessions can burn up to 1,000 calories.
