Body & Soul show at Leisure Industry Week
Leisure Industry Week (LIW) takes on a new five-show format for 2002, including Body & Soul, the largest health and fitness event in Europe.
The dedicated show, which takes place at the NEC in Birmingham from 8-10 October, will include all the equipment, technologies, trends and services in the health and fitness industry, alongside sports and water recreation equipment and beauty and nutrition products.
Other shows include Leisure Solutions, which is dedicated to the services and products needed to run a leisure operation and Leisure Environments, a show with ideas on lighting, sounds and other methods to make clients want to stay in your facility.
The Body & Soul club will provide visitors with information and a networking lounge. In addition, a number of free seminars will be running throughout the three-day event.
Melvyn Hillsdon will reveal his views on what effects retention, and Neil Snowball from Goldman Sachs will explore the role of 'health' in a health and fitness club.
Jeremy Howell from the University of San Francisco will also examine health and fitness in the new economy. Details: www.liw.co.uk
