Bob Cotton to speak at Vantis seminar on VAT inspections next week
BHA chief excutive Bob Cotton has been confirmed as guest speaker at a Vantis-run seminar on VAT inspections next week, and all BHA members are invited to attend.
The seminar is completely free of charge and will be held at an as yet undisclosed location in Central London on Wednesday 29 March 2006.
Following a busy year for Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs after the reissued E24 tronc guidance last spring, the seminar will update hospitality businesses on the present tips and troncs situation, alert them to the new areas of investigation that HMRC are looking into, and how then can best prepare themselves to deal with this.
Registration is 9am for a 9.30am start. The seminar will finish at 1pm and will be followed by drinks and canapés.
Prospective attendees must confirm their attendance by Friday, 24 March at the latest. Once confirmation has been received, Vantis will confirm the venue details with all delegates.
Other speakers at the event include Peter Davies of Vantis, who used to run Project Gourmet for Her Majesty’s Revenue & Customs; Peter Moody, a lawyer with Bevan Brittan specialising in the hospitality industry, will update you on all the latest employment law issues; Vaughn Chown, a Vantis VAT expert; and Andrew Matthieson from HM Revenue & Customs.
To register for the seminar please Laura Presland, marketing assistant at Vantis on +44 (0)20 7467 4231 or email [email protected]
