Blades reshuffle top management
Sheffield United Football Club (SUFC) has reorganised its operational structure at the top of the club.
SUFC executive director Jason Rockett will step up to concentrate on major property projects for both the club and Scarborough Group International, which is owned by SUFC chair Kevin McCabe.
Rocket will continue to oversee key SUFC projects, including the planned expansion of the club's Bramall Lane stadium, but will be assisted by Stephen McBride.
McBride, already a vice president at the club, will take over the title of executive director of SUFC.
McBride will work with other executive directors to focus on supporting a successful first team and emphasising continued off field profitability.
Club owner and chair, Kevin McCabe said: "The reorganisation will enable senior executives to utilise their unique skills in key areas for the next stage of the development of the club.
"At the heart of the changes is one overriding objective - to provide the structure and resources whereby we are successful on-the-field and ultimately competing as an effective force in the Premier League."
