The Barbados National Olympic Committee will be preparing for the 2012 London Olympics at K2 Crawley.
The leisure centre is one of 10 venues in West Sussex approved as a pre-Games training camp.
Matt Hunt, Freedom Leisure Area Manager for Crawley, said: "We are looking forward to welcoming the Barbados Olympic team to K2 Crawley in the exciting time leading up to the 2012 Games.
"K2 Crawley is perfectly equipped for the training needs of the Barbados squad and we hope to see them go on to achieve great things at the Games."
Councillor Lenny Walker, Crawley Borough Council's Cabinet member for Leisure and Cultural Services, added: "This is fantastic news for Crawley and the County. K2 Crawley is the jewel in the crown of the town's leisure facilities and it's extremely gratifying to get this kind of international approval."
