BHA Patron supplier supports hungry families across the world
British Hospitality Association (BHA) Patron Supplier OpenTable has teamed up with Action Against Hunger for this year’s Restaurants Against Hunger campaign.
OpenTable, the leading supplier of reservation, table management and guest management software, is offering participating restaurants a 50 per cet reduction in the cost of installing the OpenTable System and has committed to donate all install fees received from this promotion directly to the campaign.
To benefit from this exclusive offer a restaurant simply needs to commit to the Restaurants Against Hunger Campaign and then sign up with OpenTable by 15 September.
OpenTable will be promoting the campaign via its website and to its registered users. All participating restaurants which are also OpenTable partners will be featured on a special promotional page which everyone will be directed to.
David Pritchard, managing director of OpenTable said: “OpenTable has a long history of working closely with charitable organisations and we are delighted to be partnering Action Against Hunger in this important effort.
“The promotional offer to restaurants not currently using the OpenTable system benefits both the restaurant in reducing the cost of the system and also the charity through the donation of the install fees. During the Restaurants Against Hunger month, we will be promoting the participating restaurants to more than three million OpenTable diners.”
All funds raised from Restaurants Against Hunger go directly to Action Against Hunger, which helps vulnerable populations all around the world in their daily struggle to feed themselves. Supported countries include Lebanon and the Gaza region, Niger, Sudan, Malawi, Zambia, Guatemala, Cambodia, Mongolia and Nepal.
OpenTable is sponsor of the BHA 2006 Regional Members Days in the East Midlands, North East, and South West. For more information on OpenTable, call +44 (0)207 1704030 or email [email protected]
