BH Live Fitness membership brand launches with £0.3m gym investment in South West
'BH Live Fitness' - a range of new fitness membership packages has launched across four BH Live leisure centres in Bournemouth following a £300,000 investment, to improve local community gym facilities and increase participation in physical activity.
The Sir David English Sports Centre was the first leisure centre under BH Live operation to offer the new BH Live Fitness membership packages, having recently had the gym transformed with a £300K refurbishment and extension with new Life Fitness equipment and functional fitness zones.
BH Live also operates three additional leisure centres in Bournemouth, including the Littledown Centre, Pelhams Park Leisure Centre, and Stokewood Leisure Centre. The introduction of XN 'Dimensions' software across the group, has enabled BH Live to offer all of their leisure centre customers 'group membership' packages across the four leisure centres, rather than single site memberships.
This means from 1 April 2013, customers who take out a new BH Live Fitness package can use four gyms, three swimming pools and attend over 250 weekly fitness classes across four leisure centres.
Peter Gunn, BH Live Chief Executive said; "Our new BH Live Fitness membership packages, alongside our gym investment at the Sir David English Sports Centre, have been eagerly anticipated and welcomed by our customers; already in just ten days, over 1300 local people have said 'yes' to one of our new BH Live Fitness membership packages which is very encouraging indeed."
In the coming months, further BH Live investment to benefit customers and promote physical activity is planned when BH Live launches a brand new privilege 'BH Live Experience Card'.
Peter Gunn explains; "BH Live leisure centre customers, will receive a 'BH Live Experience Card' to use as their leisure centre membership card. This will enable them, to receive fantastic offers from across the whole of BH Live including, for example, reduced priced leisure activities and early bird discounts to shows and concerts."
