Aquaterra shortlisted for prestigious UK and regional awards
Leisure centre customers have voted Aquaterra into the finals of the prestigious Members' Choice Health Club Awards 2013, for impressive national category 'Best Small Chain' plus three leisure centre nominations in regional 'Mid-market' categories for Archway Leisure Centre, Highbury Pool & Fitness Centre and Keynsham Leisure Centre.
The three leisure centres are managed by Aquaterra in strategic partnership with Islington Council (Archway and Highbury) and Bath and North East Somerset Council (Keynsham).
The Members' Choice Health Club Awards is an awards scheme which recognises the best clubs and leisure centres based on research conducted through members around the country; they are the only awards in the industry where winners are selected purely on customer feedback. In 2013 over 350 health clubs have taken part. The awards measure the quality of customer service, facilities and value for money.
Antony Kildare, chief executive of Aquaterra, said: "This is a truly fantastic endorsement from our customers. We're very proud of the excellent level of service we provide and it's great to know that customers feel that our facilities, staff and value for money provide them with such a rewarding and enjoyable experience."
From February to April each year competing clubs encourage their members to complete an online questionnaire rating them. This year 36,000 UK members voted for their respective facilities.
The winners for each region and nationally will be announced at Health Club Awards Ceremony in September 2013 as part of Leisure Industry Week.
