3d wins award for corporate business

3d Leisure has been recognised for the success of its first corporate contract – the Healthy Living Zones for Tesco head office staff.

Tesco awarded the 3d Leisure staff with a Values Award – for staff who have performed above the expected level in offering exceptional value to the store for its success in encouraging Tesco staff to join the corporate facility.

Around 1,000 staff are now members of the Healthy Living Zone, which represents 25 per cent of all head office staff.

As part of the contract, all Tesco staff receive a preferential rate at 3d Leisure gyms throughout the UK.

3d Leisure started managing the first Healthy Living Zone in Cheshunt in July 2002 and the second site at Welwyn Garden City in February 2003. Group operations director, Paul Ramsay, said the accolade will help win new corporate contracts in future.
