3d Leisure secures contract extension with CLSP
Leisure management company 3d leisure has secured a deal to operate a Gymophobics-branded ladies-only fitness club in Redditch, on behalf of Community Leisure Services Partnership (CLSP).
The deal marks an extension to the current partnership between CLSP – a charity working with communities to promote healthy, active lifestyles. The Redditch site will become the third female-only site in the CLSP portfolio to be operated by 3d Leisure.
CLSP has plans to invest in the Redditch club and 3d has been tasked with increasing the membership base at the site.
Gymophobics offers personalised 30-minute resistance exercise circuit training sessions, which are designed to take into account each customer’s age and fitness.
Based on a franchise model, there are currently 32 Gymophobics sites in the UK.
In October, 3d Leisure announced it will continue to roll-out its in-house brand – which it launched earlier this year – to target clients who want a ready-made branding solution for their sites.
It is also looking to expand into Europe, with the opening of an office in Greece.
Celebrating 25 years in operation this year, 3d Leisure was formed in 1991 by current MD, Mark Bremner. The company was originally set-up to work with hotel-based leisure facilities.
