3,000 fitness fans pack Ally Pally for Reebok and Les Mills One Live event
Alexandra Palace played host to a sea of sweaty bodies on Saturday (13 June), as more than 3,000 instructors and consumers jumped into their gym kit for the London leg of the Reebok and Les Mills One Live tour.
Having kicked off a five-year partnership in 2013, the two fitness giants have worked closely on a number of projects, including the recently-announced Immersive Fitness concept and the global One Live 2015 tour.
The one-day festival in London – the second of three UK dates for 2015 – featured pumping music and state of the art lighting as 26 different Les Mills classes were held across two giant stages.
The event serves as an ideal showcase of classes for new and existing Les Mills consumers, as well as an opportunity to attract new instructors. One Live events also include elements such as a talent search for the world’s best Les Mills instructors, with the winner to be flown to Auckland, New Zealand to participate in Les Mills Masterclass filming in 2016.
“One Live London was our biggest event to date; 3,000 attendees enjoying 26 different classes and the atmosphere was off the hook,” Martin Franklin, CEO of Les Mills UK told Health Club Management.
“It was great to welcome some of our amazing international presenter team and programme directors for New Zealand who joined our UK team on stage and really made the event special for both our instructors and consumers alike.”
