Fife Sports & Leisure Trust

Head of Operations

Salary: £56,107.80 - £63,165.86

Location: Dunfermline

Fife Sports & Leisure Trust provides facilities and services to encourage sport, recreation, and physical activity within Fife's communities. As a not-for-profit organisation limited by guarantee, it reinvests any surplus funds into enhancing facilities and services for the local population. The organisation positively impacts communities by creating opportunities for people in Fife to engage in more frequent physical activity. This is facilitated through its estate of fourteen sports centres, swimming pools, outdoor facilities, and an athletics centre.

As a member of the Executive Management Team, you will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer, working closely with the CEO and Board of Directors, along with the Executive Management Team, to shape and implement the company's overall growth strategy as it continues to embark on transformational change. You will be a key decision-maker within the organisation, ensuring the company maximises its performance across various business aspects, including the consistent and successful service management of all venues.

Your responsibilities will include managing and leading section managers to ensure a coordinated and consistent approach to service delivery across 14 venues, driving cultural shifts in response to customer needs, and ensuring compliance with the Services Agreement between Fife Council and Fife Sports and Leisure Trust. You will also seek opportunities to enhance income streams working in partnership with our Sales and Commercial Development section. Additionally, you will lead corporate reviews to deliver improvements and efficiencies and provide professional leadership and support to the senior management team.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategic management and operational leadership and the ability to drive major organisational change projects. You will be responsible for setting and maintaining high standards of conduct and performance, supporting employee development, managing budgets, and fostering strong relationships with key business partners and stakeholders.

Join us in positively impacting our community by promoting active lifestyles and delivering high-quality services. If you are a visionary leader with a passion for excellence and a commitment to continuous improvement, we invite you to apply for this exciting and rewarding role.
